Student Unity - the website designed for students, by a student! It's your ultimate guide to uni life!
About This website was created as part of one of my third year modules at University and I decided to keep it live! The website is designed for prospective students, undergraduates, and graduates and offers articles on a number of subjects from living advice to the best student deals.
I went to the University of Winchester from 2006 - 2009 and did a degree in Media Studies with Drama Studies. I was the first in my family to ever attend university and was inspired by my older cousins who both went to uni and loved it. Before uni, I completed my A levels in Media Studies, Theatre Studies and English Language and the subjects I most enjoyed were the first two - hence deciding to learn more about them at University.
I decided to create the website because I have a passion for web design and have been inspired by my Dad from a young age, who has always been one step ahead of everyone else when it comes to understanding new technologies. My degree was much more theory-based than what I realised it would be and so in my third year, I purposely chose the Production Project module so I could try my hand at creating and managing my own website. All of the articles on the site are written by me and are honest accounts of my experiences at uni.
